Waiting… Even Longer

So, as most of you know, I am not one for waiting. Especially after in 2013, working out that I had spent 2 and a half weeks of my life waiting to get on flights that I don’t even enjoy in the slightest!

My most recent flight was my 100th flight during my life so far; you would have thought I’d learned to like it by now.

But hey ho, what can I do? I love to travel and that means waiting and flying!

Anyway, I thought it was a good time to follow on from my ‘Waiting’ post and work out my updated figure!

I’ve worked out that since my last post, I have flown to 16 destinations.

So that means 32 flights.

14 flights had 3 hours waiting time.

18 were domestic and had 2 hours.

THAT’S 78 HOURS waiting to board a pressurised tunnel and soar through the sky!

That’s almost 3.25 days.

Add that on to the 2 and a half weeks that I worked out a few years back and my current waiting time has increased to 20.75 days which is just under three weeks!

THREE WEEKS OF MY LIFE WAITING AT THE AIRPORT AND SPENDING MY MONEY ON BOOKS THAT I’LL NEVER READ, STUPID NECK PILLOWS I’LL LEAVE ON THE PLANE AND OVERPRICED WATER!

The lengths we go for a holiday astounds me… yet, I know we will never stop.
